My final answer of eleven eight-year olds only pertained to the fact they were all boys. If indeed they were mixed in a boy-girl-boy-girl ratio, I know for a fact that my numbers would increase. Especially in one-on-one competition, I would change my estimate to 80 before fatigue and/or a broken hand would cause me to lose.
If it was indeed gang warfare, I change my number to 27 before they crushed my ribs. In this case, I would consider the girls a non-factor until the boys were holding my arms and legs on the ground. At the point, the girls would play a role. They would jump on my chest until it began to cave. At that point, I'd be too weak to fight back and the boys would attack chest until it eventually caved in.
One final note: One thing I did consider through all the pugilism would be in the inevitable nut shot, which could take me down much sooner. To even the playing field, I would insist that everyone wore a cup before the brawl began.

You underestimate the power of some eight year old girls. However, I don't believe they'd take you down, they certainly wouldn't be a non-factor. Girls fight dirty, and thats science.

Jesus Baily, do you honestly think we're that stupid? Of course we know 8 year old girls fight dirty. You underestimate the intensity of the desire grown men have to avoid being physically overtaken by little girls. Its one of our two primary, core instincts--#1: Protect the balls #2: Don't allow little girls to kick your ass.
This urge is so strong that evolution has afforded males a secret trove of energy and willpower which lies dormant until unleashed by a direct affront to the manhood. This can come in the form of a swift kick to the nuts, hair pulling, biting, or any other "dirty" methods the young girls might employ.
No, I think that if girls were involved, the number of 8 year olds it would take to overcome Jay would, if anything, go up at least a good 10-15 percent. but thats just me i guess.
